The keyboard keys have a good tactile feel and are very responsive, living up to Lenovo’s excellent reputation in this area. The Core i7 processor and discrete graphics ensure fast speed, even when running a number of demanding tasks all at once. In some cases, reviewers reported the Lenovo IdeaPad Y560D performed better, when playing demanding games, than dedicated gaming laptops like the Alienware M11x.

Opinions vary on the laptop’s 3D capabilities. Movies and games look pretty good in 3D, but some details can look fuzzy where viewing angles are very narrow. This laptop comes with of low-tech polarized glasses, where other 3D laptops utilize active shutter technology for a more immersive experience. According to some reviews, these glasses can also contribute to eyestrain if used for several hours. The Lenovo IdeaPad Y560D has the same issue as Hp Envy 17 – it lasts less than two hours on a charge.

The experts suggests that you should not buy the 15.6-inch Lenovo IdeaPad Y560D laptop for the 3D display alone, but taking into account its Core i7 CPU reasonable price and excellent performance, it is definitely worth considering.
