Compaq Computers

i hav 2 compaq computers and one needs more RAM can i take the RAM from the one i dnt use?

ok heres the deal
i hav 2 compaq computers, one i dnt use anymore, the other i still use. the old one had more ram on it than the one i am using
i want to know can i take the ram from the old compaq computer and put it in the one i am using to give me more ram???
the old one is a compaq deskpro and the other is a compaq evo w4000

Depends on the type of computer and the type of memory. Give me the model numbers of both and I can tell you.

There are several types of Evo4000 so I’ll need something more specifice. If you know the processory type and speed that would help match it up.
