Hp Compaq 6000

Help with my laptop! please?

I have a Hp compaq nc 6000 and for some time now, i have been having issues with it like when i start it up the screen won’t come on but all the buttons and everything is on and making noises i have to remove the battery for it to work? so if i get a new battery will it work better? also the fan is making noises and i need this laptop for school and i’m tapd out!!

Mine does this sometimes too. Also what helps I hold down the button until it shuts off, then I just turn it back on and it works. Sometimes I to remove the battery too, its not ur battery, its your laptop.
